This time I picked 2 videos of one band…..
Beginning of the 90s the Urban Dance Squad started their funky hip hop metal mix. One of the first bands who started with a turntable on stage…. Funny detail is; they started playing with all kinds of bands on stage (like Red Hot Chili Peppers) = before they ever recorded a record….
Also another funny detail; we all know Junkie XL - he made that ultimate remix of a Presly song (Little Less Conversation)….. well; at the moment Junkie XL started to be Junkie XL (well - the founder of Junkie XL had more before he started this… ;) ) = the singer of Urban Dance Squad (RUDEBOY) was also the singer of Junkie XL = yes -> Junkie XL started off as a band……. and uh….. I even saw them a couple of times…
Back to Urban Dance Squad….;

Urban Dance Squad - Deeper Shade Of Soul
Deeper Shad of Soul was such a dope track! I totally forgot about it until I read this post but I used to love this when it came out.
I also didn’t remember that it was such a combination of musical genres until now. I just remember it being a catchy and original track that I loved with a twist of Hip Hop. Gotta love it!
